Dani and Jeanna are performers turned certified health coaches who host the Onstage with Wellness Podcast. Their mission is to empower performers with their holistic wellness, self worth, and authenticity in the industry so they can fully shine on and off the stage. They both have performed internationally, with Dani specializing in modern dance and Jeanna in musical theater. They both received their Health Coach Certification from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition and have worked with dozens of clients in and out of the industry to live more sustainable lives. They hope to normalize holistic health in the performing industry and make it a part of a performing arts education.

Meghan Gratzer is a musical theater actress born and raised in Queens, NY! After graduating from LIU Post with a BFA in Musical Theater, she booked her dream role of Dorothy in The Wizard of Oz at a regional theater. Her Cairn Terrier, Rudy, was even hired as Toto! Meghan spent 2017-2019 traveling the world with Royal Caribbean. First, she spent a year on the Independence of the Seas playing the role of Frenchy in Grease & then booked Penny in RCCL’s takeout cast of Hairspray on their brand new ship, Symphony of the Seas. She even met her Welsh fiancé while traveling the world, too!
Meghan was just recently diagnosed with Breast Cancer at the age of 26 and has gone public with her battle to help raise awareness. Being a performer, our appearance is part of our livelihood. She touches on important topics, such as hair loss, and is educating her followers on what not to say to someone going through a cancer diagnosis!
Meghan and her fiancé have also been making music together while being apart (@mountainsinmanhattan). You can find their music on all streaming platforms!
In this episode, you'll hear Meghan chat candidly with host Maggie Bera about her journey in the theatre industry, working on cruise ships, her relationship with her fiancé, the importance of taking care of yourself and how the pandemic ultimately saved her life.

Gerianne Pérez made her Broadway debut as Kathy in Broadway's first a cappella musical, In Transit, at the Circle in the Square Theatre. With a book, music and lyrics by Academy Award winner Kristen Anderson-Lopez (Frozen), James-Allen Ford, Russ Kaplan and Sara Wordsworth, and vocal arrangements by Deke Sharon (Pitch Perfect), In Transit was directed and choreographed by three-time Tony Award winner, Kathleen Marshall. Gerianne has also been seen performing roles in Guys and Dolls, Grease, In the Heights, and Newsies. She also opened and closed the First National Tour of the critically acclaimed musical Waitress, with music by Grammy nominee, Sara Bareilles, and direction by Tony Award winner, Diane Paulus. Gerianne has been praised by critics for her sultry vocals and was hailed by the New York Times as "an impressive singer...seemingly effortless." Her voice can be heard on the tracks of "Fever," "Locked out of Heaven," and "Hallelujah" on the Vocalosity cast album, as well as the entirety of the Original Broadway Cast album of In Transit. She has appeared on stages from New York City to Shanghai, and venues including 54 Below, Joe's Pub, Town Hall, the Beacon Theater, Lincoln Center, and Carnegie Hall. She is a proud graduate of NYU's Tisch School of the Arts.

Samantha Rios is an actor and musician originally from Arlington, VA. She is currently a student at The University of Michigan studying Musical Theatre. In 2015, Samantha starred in Telemundo’s Reality TV Singing Competition, “La Voz Kids” as well as Season 13 of NBC’s “The Voice.” Since then, Samantha has sung backup for Sara Bareilles, Lin Manuel Miranda, and Christopher Jackson. She has also performed at The White House, the Kennedy Center, Lincoln Center, and various theatres in Washington, DC.

Leo Ash Evens is a graduate of Carnegie Mellon University with a BFA in Acting / Musical Theatre. Co-Owner/Director of Musical Theater College Auditions (MTCA) and entering his fourteenth year of expert preparation for musical theatre and acting college auditions, Leo balances and integrates a diversity of artistic disciplines, drawing from years of professional experience as an actor, voiceover artist, and educator. Leo infuses his students with the tools and confidence to prepare for successful college auditions. Broadway credits include School of Rock, Shuffle Along, and Jesus Christ Superstar.
Off-Broadway, he has appeared in Jasper in Deadland, Finks at the Ensemble Studio Theatre, Wanda’s World, and Ionescapade;The Works of Eugene Ionesco at The York Theatre. He has played Riff in West Side Story in a multitude of productions including London’s West End, The 50th Anniversary US Tour, Houston TUTS, Barrington Stage, and North Carolina Theatre. On tour, he has appeared in 42nd Street in Moscow, Disney’s On The Record; and Casper The Musical, starring Chita Rivera. Regionally, he’s appeared as Black Stache in Peter And the Starcatcher (Pioneer), The Emcee in Cabaret (Houston TUTS and The Arvada Center, winning Best Actor in the Houston Theatre Excellence Awards), Jamie MacRea in Matthew Lopez’s world premier play Somewhere, (The Old Globe and TheatreWorks in Palo Alto), and Tulsa in Gypsy, starring Patti LuPone (Chicago Ravinia Festival). In the spring of 2021, Leo returns to TheatreWorks playing Tateh in Ragtime. National voice overs have included: Siemens Technology, Sharp, Foster Grants (starring Brooke Shields), JC Penney, V8, Avus, and GoGurt. Leo’s currently the voice for Monster. Tee Boyich is a broadway actress known for her historic debut in the Original Broadway Cast of “Mean Girls the Musical” as the standby for Cady Heron, Gretchen, Janis, and Adult Women (Mrs. Heron, Mrs. George, Ms. Norbury) at the August Wilson theatre. She is also known for her studio recording work. She recorded the viral theme song to the Netflix hit show Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt. She also provided vocals for various episodes through the series. She lives in NYC with her husband and their pup, Butters.

Julia Knitel is a New York City based actor who has worked both on & off Broadway, as well as regionally. She toured the country as Carole King in Beautiful: The Carole King Musical after understudying the role on Broadway, receiving acclaim from audiences and critics alike. Currently, she is playing Janice & Others on the 1st National Tour of Come From Away. On Broadway she was seen in Beautiful, and Roundabout’s Revival of Bye Bye Birdie. Off-Broadway, she was seen as Barbara in A Letter to Harvey Milk, for which she received a Lucille Lortel nomination for Best Leading Actress. Select New York/Regional credits include: Louise in Gypsy (The Muny - St Louis Theatre Circle nomination), Martha in The Constant Wife (Denver Center), Ulla in The Producers(Casa Mañana), Jennifer/Theresa in the World Premiere Red Maple (Capitol Repertory Theatre), Nora in Brighton Beach Memoirs (Portland Stage), Ingrid in Volleygirls (NY Musical Theatre Festival - Best of Fest), Lydia in The Tycoons (Rave Theatre Festival - Outstanding Performance in a Leading Role). Julia has originated roles in the development of countless new plays & musicals in both workshops & readings over the past 10 years. She is a feminist and a passionate advocate for social justice.

Jane Bruce is an actor and songwriter originally from Utah. She is a graduate of Umich for Musical Theatre, and currently Covid-paused from performing in "Jagged Little Pill". Other credits include "The Other Josh Cohen" (Off-Broadway), "The Ballad of Little Jo" (Two River/ Cast Recording) and "Original Sound" (Cherry Lane/ Drama Desk Nomination- Best Original Music in a Play". Her ep of original songs "It's You" was released in 2017 and she has an indie/folk album coming out this year, as well as a commission from South Coast Rep for an original folk musical. @janeybrucey

Collin Sanderson is a NYC-based actor from Irvine, California. Just before the Covid-19 pandemic, Collin appeared on the Westchester Broadway Theatre stage in An American in Paris. Other favorite credits include, Lysistrata Jones (Mick) at Refuge Theatre Project; The Addams Family (Lucas Beineke) at The Little Theatre on the Square; The Little Mermaid (Flotsam/Prince Eric cover) and Newsies (Buttons/Bill) at The Fireside Theatre. In addition, Collin has worked at acclaimed theatre company’s including The Marriott Theatre, Theatre at the Center, Lythgoe Family Panto, and Prather Entertainment Group. Collin hold’s a BFA in Musical Theatre from The Chicago College of Performing Arts at Roosevelt University and he is also a proud AEA Member. In September of 2020, two friends Jacob Ben-Shmuel (Book of Mormon) and Alan Blake Bachelor (Blumhouse’s “Uncanny Annie”) found themselves on the journey of a musical podcast lifetime. Cue: One Million Musicals.
What's One Million Musicals, you ask? Well it's podcast with a simple dream: to write and produce one million podcast musicals! Each month, their team of writers, producers and performers from across Broadway, Film and TV create a brand new podcast musical for your ears to enjoy.
In this episode, host Maggie Bera chats with co-creators Jacob Ben-Shmuel and Alan Blake Bachelor about their inspiration behind One Million Musicals, what exactly goes into creating a podcast musical, their latest episode Lady Jane's Radio Takeover, and what's to come!
Jacob Ben-Shmuel is is the Co-Creator and Showrunner of One Million Musicals, as well as the co-writer and composer of each of its shows, including How to Be Spooky, The Lawman with No Gun, The South Pole Santa Claus, and Lady Jane's Radio Takeover. After graduating from UC Irvine's musical theatre program, Jacob spent two and a half years touring the United States, Canada and Mexico with the hit Broadway show The Book of Mormon, as the Standby for Elder Cunningham. While on the road, his musical Brad Knows Nothing was accepted into the New York Musical Festival's 2018 season. You can hear his voice as a wide variety of characters in One Million Musicals, including most recently Bennie Berstein and Dolf "The Dink" Diggle in Lady Jane's Radio Takeover.

Alan Blake Bachelor is a co-creator of One Million Musicals and has been writing musicals with Jacob since their days at UC Irvine. Their musical, Brad Knows Nothing, was featured at the New York Musical Festival in 2018. Alan and his brother, James, are writers of horror screenplays, one of which became an episode of Blumhouse’s Into the Dark entitled "Uncanny Annie.”
